Unplugged

So our computer has again decided to have a fatal error to it and we are trying to work things out to bring it back to life. This has happened a few weeks ago and one of Kevin's IT guys was able to help, I am using Kevin's work laptop to write this right now. Another part of the problem is Kevin is leaving tomorrow for FL for the week and will not be into work to talk to his IT guy this time, so I may be without a computer this week (gasp). Kevin may be able to work something out if I drive on base to pick something up, but that is to be determined. Maybe this is God's way of saying I need some time away from the computer.

So in the mean time Daniel is getting his molars which equals diarrhea, and we are enjoying the beautiful weather this weekend because it is supposed to be rainy this week.

So if you think of us out here, send up a little prayer and we will see how this week goes. I will have some great pictures to post when I get plugged back in, so tune in next week for some more "Gagnier Games".

A busy weekend!

So it is Sunday night again, the trash is outside ready to be picked up, and the pictures have been downloaded from this past week. I don't know where the time goes, but I do know we spent a lot of it this week outside. From walks to grilling, from New Hampshire to South Boston, we were outdoors much of the weekend. The week was filled with visiting friends and the daily grind, and this weekend we went up to the house in NH to check on the house and meet with our Realtor. Things are looking good up there. Today we watched Kevin at his flag football game and cheered him on.

Here is Daniel eating some pudding he helped me make.

Rachel outside enjoying our backyard. We grilled out a few times this week, yummy. She is holding a carrot that she is gnawing on because of two teeth that are popping up!

Just another very cute picture of Rachel

This is a picture after we all slept in past 8! Look how happy we all are! We need more mornings like that. Hope you all have a great week!

Spring is in the air

The weather is nice, the windows can be opened, and spring is in the air! It really helps the week go by when we can get outside most of the time. This week we are really focusing in Daniel and discipline. He is a good kid, but needs some more attention and guidance with listening to us and handling it when we say "no". It is going well, and with Kevin and me on him, he is adjusting.

Daniel can climb into the bed and hangs out with Rachel. He is the only one so far who can really make Rachel laugh. The new thing is that he throws laundry on her and takes it off and she laughs hysterically at it. Rachel is getting her top teeth! I see the white nubs, and I hope teething goes well for her. She is sleeping more lately and that may be why.

Here Daniel is eating breakfast, and likes his "coffee". No, I don't give him the real deal, but he enjoys drinking out of this cup and when he sees the cup he says coffee. He is also beginning to help me do chores around the house and I am finding he really wants to help. Although it takes me longer to do things, we are all happier at the end of the day.

Weekend in Delaware

Here is Rachel in her Easter outfit with her Uncle Ryan and Auntie Kristin. I don't have a photo of Daniel all dressed up because as you remember, he puked up all over his outfit.

The newest piece of furniture is this beautiful toddler table and chair that his Pepere made for him. When Kevin's dad mentioned that he wanted to make a table and chair set, I was happy but didn't realize he would make something so unique. It now proudly sits in our dining room, and has a few extra chairs when his friends visit.

Cousin time

Here are some photos from my trip to NY. Thanks Joe for sending them

Here is Rachel and Hadessa, my cousin's daughter. They just stared at eachother when they met, but it was still very cute. It is going to be fun to watch both of their personalities come out as they get older.

Here are Daniel and Michael playing with pots. Why do we need to pay for toys again? They tired each other out very nicely and had a lot of fun together. Anytime I say Michael's name, Daniel repeats it and looks around for him. Their personalities compliment one another's but it also means they know how to get under the other's skin from time to time.

Just the two of them

So I was looking through the downloaded pictures and smiling, so I thought I would share them with you. It has been slightly frusterating being at home without Kevin, I have a new level of respect for single moms, but God gives you moments with the kids, or a smile, or a hug, or a laugh, and it ultimately is ok. It is quiet now, Rachel is asleep, Daniel is getting ready for bed, and one more day down until Friday when Kevin comes home!
