Baby in a Bumbo

I am beginning to feel guilty that I don't have half as much pictures of Rachel as I have of Daniel at the same age. I need to start taking more of her. It is the second baby syndrome!
Rachel likes the Bumbo seat we borrowed from a friend. It is nice to have another place for her to sit in.
All of a sudden this week it seemed like Daniel decided that it was ok if Rachel touched him and he began giving her a whole lot more attention. I could even get them in a few pictures together!
Here is Daniel lining up some paper people. He has quite the sense of order!

We went to the NE Aquarium this weekend, and here is Daniel checking out the Penguins. I think he had just as much fun running around the place and trying to jump in water.

Daniel loves to eat his "dip". Dip consists of anything that he puts his food in. Here it is Salsa, but it could be ketsup, syrup, butter, or ranch dressing. We took off his shirt and put a towel under him to keep things clean. We are watching the Pats game.

Here is my friend Angela with Rachel. She is our honorary family member.

So it was a busy weekend with the Aquarium, meeting up with friends and watching football all afternoon on Sunday. For me there is a conflict, the Giants and the Patriots are going to the superbowl. It is my brother against my husband, but I don't need to share here who I am rooting for ;-)

Rachel is 3 months old!

Super Mom Sandra! This is my friend Sandra with her sons Josiah and Caleb, with Rachel in the other arm.

Daniel is trying to help Rachel with her toy. He actually took her hand and helped her press the buttons so that the lights would come on. What a good brother.
Rachel posing at 3 months. She loves to sit upright and be a part of the action.

Blogs to give you a good chance to remember what happened that week. It was pretty uneventful until the end. Kevin was pulled aside at work and approaced about a government position on base, working the same programs that he is now, but in a different role. It would be a better paying job and better benefits, so we are praying about the next steps. That came out of the blue. Daniel is sick right now, so that has limited us the last few days. We have been cleaning like crazy, going through all of our paperwork and cleaning up and throwing away a lot of things. It feels good. We are getting ready for a big snow storm tonight, all the snow melted recently and the weather has been nice, but I guess it is still winter.

Kevin rearranged our basement to fit the train table and workout equipment. Daniel loves going downstairs to play with the choo choos.

A cute outfit for Rachel (thanks Anna)
Happy New Year!
The Gagnier Gym is back in business. Kevin and I have gotten back to lifting weights and doing some cardio in the evenings. Kevin's car also had some troubles this week, the door wouldn't close when he got it in to go home from work this week, and he had to drive home with one hand keeping the door shut. We took it to the shop and got that and brakes and a few other items taken care of so we have a car like new. Yesterday we went up to the house in NH and had to shovel a few feet of snow just to get into the house. We cleaned the carpets up there, and will have a temporary certificate of occupancy until June, praise God. We feel that the big things for the house are now done, next step is to get a virtual tour done, get it on the market, and get some legal advice on our lives. Daniel got a haircut and Rachel is smiling and cooing up a storm. This week we will be getting back to business as usual, not that I fully know what that is yet!
